ENTRY PROCEDURE
- Online entry (Entrythingy) only
- 3 – 5 images
- Work previously shown in any SMI exhibition at Academy Square galleries or the Montclair Public Library is not eligible.
- JPEG file format images only. For fast upload and good image quality, files should be a minimum size of 1500 ppi on the longest side. Digital images should be cropped to show only your artwork. If edges are irregular, it is best to photograph against a black background.
- Submit work that will be available for the duration of the exhibition. No substitutions will be accepted after selections are finalized.
SPECIFICATIONS
2D Work: there is no limitation on width; height limitation is 72 inches; Minimum size is 12 inches in any direction.
Sculpture: Wall-hung is preferable. Space for free-standing work is limited and is not to exceed 72inches H x 3 feet W x 3 feet W and 100 lbs. Artists must supply own pedestals if necessary.
Nude images are not eligible for selection in this public exhibition space.
LIABILITY: SMI does not provide insurance for theft, loss or damage of artwork while artwork is on the premises or in transit. Artists must provide their own insurance.
SALES: 30% donation will be retained by SMI on all sales.Works available for sale will be sold at the price indicated on the entry form. No changes in price will be permitted upon acceptance. Works not for sale should be listed NFS.
USAGE OF IMAGES: Studio Montclair reserves the right to photograph and use accepted work for documentation, website, publicity, social media or catalog purposes.
AGREEMENT: Entering your work in this exhibition constitutes an acceptance of all the requirements set forth in this prospectus.
