Do you want to exhibit your work?
But don’t know how to take quality digital photos
and submit them electronically?
Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 7–9 pm
If you don’t want to use a professional photographer, you can still get
excellent results by learning some of their secrets. This evening will
give you the do-it-yourself skills to take good digital photos
inexpensively, upload them to your computer, use free software to
make simple corrections and correct sizing, and submit them to shows.
There will be a demo of simple digital photography methods with
acclaimed photographer Susan Hammond, followed by a demo of basic
editing software with Montclair artist Mim Nelson-Gillett. A Q&A
session will follow.
Space is limited to 30 people maximum, so be sure to sign up early!
Price: $10 SMI members, $15 non-members (checks & cash)
