Creating mandalas, a meditative process which has been practiced by Buddhist monks for centuries, has become a mainstay in the western world’s modern approach to counseling and self-care. The mandala can be used as a method of reducing stress, decreasing anxiety, and an opportunity for self-reflection. This workshop, facilitated by a board certified art therapist, is an experiential opportunity to learn about the mandala, its history and healing properties, and to create your own mandala, a reflection of your inner world.
