Studio Montclair announces “20/20,” an exhibition on view from October 13 to December 15, 2017. This exhibit takes place in Studio Montclair’s Galleries at Academy Square, the SMI Gallery @ Academy Square and the SMI Virginia S. Block Gallery, located on the first and second floors of 33 Plymouth Street in Montclair. All are invited to the opening reception on Friday, October 20, from 6 to 9 pm and coincides with the Fall Montclair Art Walk. The galleries are open to the public 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday.

Curator Pamela Moore, “The 20/20 exhibition that I had the pleasure to curate, is an extension of Studio Montclair’s 20th anniversary celebration. There are 54 pictures represented in the show exploring different mediums and methods. They are all presented in a uniform size of 20 inch square making the exhibit inclusive and harmonious of the incredible talents that were presented to me.”

CURATOR
Pamela Moore was born in Montclair N.J. and lives in NYC.
She is a painter / photographer, and mixed media artist. Her work is a synthesis of diverse mediums and methods, combining painting, monoprinting, etching, photography and collage. She is included in many permanent collections such as the Smithsonian Institution, Lincoln Center, Hofstra University Museum, PepsiCo, Alleghany Corp., John Wiley & Sons as well as completing over 50 major corporate commissions. Ms. Moore has shown extensively in New York, Holland, Germany, and Japan.
