Studio Montclair presents their second show of the season: “Rendering Green” —  showcasing  artists at the crossroads of aesthetic and ecological thought.

“Rendering Green” opened January 21 at the  SMI Virginia S. Block Gallery, on the second floor of the new Academy Square office building, and will run through April 29, 2011. The show will include work by many SMI members, and will be curated by founding president and gallery director, Virginia S. Block.

Among the featured works on display will be Greenman by Maria Lupo, Mask with Spear by Elizabeth Smith Jacobs, Riverbank 4 by Alice Harrison, and White Tower by Charles Palminteri.

Featuring the work of Catherine Meier Asher, Susanna Baker, Jane Dell, Alice Harrison, Susan Herman, Phyllis K Huggett, Elizabeth Smith Jacobs, Mildred Kaye, Lissanne Lake, Susan Lisbin, Maria Lupo, Paula Marino, Clarence Mather, Roger Munch, Charles Palminteri, Jim Price, Nancy-Jo Taiani and Lisa Westheimer.
