Studio Montclair presents Wellness Arts Enrichment: Member Artists of JSDD’S Wae Center, an art exhibit on view from September 19 through November 21, 2014 at the SMI Virginia S. Block Gallery at 33 Plymouth Street 2nd floor, Montclair, NJ.
Studio Montclair presents In Memoriam: Clarence Mather, Works on Paper, opening on September 19th. A fitting memorial to this founding member, who passed away in August of 2013, the exhibit includes 25 pieces by the artist. We see his unique mono prints, pastels and watercolors and also discover how he combined prints with collage, pen and washes.
Come see “Art in Nature,” an outdoor sculpture exhibition on the grounds of Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills, NJ. The exhibition features the work of 30 artists including William Tucker, Jon Isherwood, Anne Arnold, Mia Westerlund Roosen, and John Clement. The exhibition was curated by Karen Wilkin and sponsored by Studio Montclair in association with Greenwood Gardens, a 28 acre privately run garden in Short Hills, NJ.
This exhibit explores the work and process of painter Catherine Kinkade, photographer Ananda Lima, painter/writer Jennifer Anne Moses, sculptor Gina Casolaro Murray, ceramist Linda Vonderschmidt-LaStella, and mixed media artist Gail Watkins. method will be on view till June 28 at the Montclair Public Library Gallery.

The Window, a show that considers what painting, two-dimensional art, has become since Brunelleschi thought of it as a metaphorical window into a naturalistic, ordered world will be on display at Academy Square until August 15, 2014. The galleries are free and open to the public 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday.
